North East Combined Authority and Power to Change, in partnership with VONNE, are inviting you to take part in a unique series of Town & High Street Roundtables — an opportunity to influence policy, share your experience, and help shape vibrant, community-led high streets across our region.
These events are designed to explore the role of community businesses and socially trading organisations (STOs) in revitalising high streets. If you're part of a community business, socially trading organisation, local authority, voluntary sector, or simply care about the future of your local high street, they want your voice at the table.
There are 6 online roundtables, focused on three key themes of urban, rural and coastal high streets, as well as one final in-person event to bring together insights and action across all themes. The online roundtables are being facilitated by Local Infrastructure Organisations, and the one facilitated by Durham Community Action will focus on a rural theme.
