Supporting Community Initiatives

Community Spaces Partnership

As part of our ongoing work supporting community hubs, DCA are working in collaboration with The National Lottery Community Fund (TNLCF), Community Action Northumberland and ACT (Action with Communities in Cumbria) on the Community Spaces Partnership.

Through the partnership, DCA will be able to support hubs to transition to net-zero through the:

  • Facilitation of a strategy or organisational development session to understand longer-term needs
  • Support to achieve quality marks such as Hallmark or Volunteer Kitemark
  • Bespoke training
  • Support with funding searches and act as a ‘critical friend’
  • Invitation to peer support networking sessions

For information about the evaluation of the Community Spaces Partnership, please visit https://nicre.co.uk/innovation-portal/community-spaces-partnership/

We offer support for community organisations on Growth and Development, Funding Advice and Support and Training Opportunities.

We manage a Share and Learn Network of community organisations that run local buildings and services.
