Since September 2025, we have been meeting fortnightly with our twelve Community Commissioners from Stanley and Consett.
We have built relationships through activities, eating together and conversations.
The Commissioners have been learning about the Poverty Truth Commission (PTC) process, and four of them went along to the launch of the South Tyneside Commission in November.
This left them bursting with ideas for their own launch in March 2026.
From now until then, we will be preparing, exploring and working hard to bring you a thought-provoking and inspiring event.
