As June approaches, we mark an important date in our calendars to celebrate and recognise the unsung heroes of our community: our volunteers.
Volunteers’ Week was first established in 1984, by what was then known as Volunteering England. This year we’re excited to be celebrating the 40th anniversary, from Monday 3rd to Sunday 9th June. Volunteers' Week 2024 is a special time dedicated to appreciating those who donate their time, effort, and talents to make a difference in our surroundings.
