Taking the Temperature of the Voluntary Sector: can you take part?

Nottingham Trent University and Pro Bono Economics’ quarterly VCSE Barometer Survey is now open, until Wednesday 7th February, and we are encouraging organisations from across County Durham to complete it.

The survey, now entering its second year, charts challenges and issues affecting voluntary and community sector groups and organisations.  It’s designed to be a quick and easy ‘temperature check’ of the current state of the sector, including financial health, workforce, volunteering and other key issues.  Every quarter also has a set of special focus questions (this time on the impacts of operating within the current local authority landscape).

It’s supported by the major UK national VCSE infrastructure organisations and findings are shared with national and local policy and decision makers.  County Durham was underrepresented within the survey previously, and having better local data could help give a more accurate picture to policymakers.
