FUNDING STILL AVAILABLE FROM THE NATIONAL LOTTERY COMMUNITY FUND COVID COMMUNITY SUPPORT FUND

13th Jul 2020

There is still funding available from The National Lottery Community Fund COVID Community Support Fund which they are delivering on behalf of the Department for Culture, Media and Sport.

They are still very keen to hear from community organisations within our region that need funds for:

  • Work and activities addressing Covid related issues (activities and needs that the changed situation has brought about, e.g. organisations moving their support or activities online, supporting community activity / food banks, addressing isolation, providing advice / counselling etc)
  • Support with financial problems / loss of funds, and/or core costs needed as a result losses during this period
  • Work addressing inequality/inequity (organisation’s delivering work led by or supporting communities with protected characteristics such as supporting people with disabilities, and BAMER, older people’s organisations)

Where organisations apply for activity costs, these must be activities that can be carried out now, rather than future based.  Applications should cover work/finances for up to 6 months; they are particularly keen to hear from organisations seeking over £10k up to £100k.

They would welcome applications from any needed organisations working and delivering key work in the North East and Cumbria region.  As per above these applications need to relate to Covid 19 in terms of the activities now being delivered, or the income loss being a result of the crisis.  They are unable to support organisations who have already applied for, or received this CCSF funding already (under or over £10k).
