INFORMATION FROM NATIONAL LOTTERY COMMUNITY FUND ON JOB RETENTION SCHEME

9th Apr 2020

The National Lottery Community Fund have confirmed that posts they have funded may be eligible for the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme, where organisations can apply for a grant to cover 80% of their usual monthly wage costs.

Any organisations that have staff posts funded by TNLCF grants and who want to furlough these staff will need to speak to their funding officer to get permission reallocate funds. Funds can’t be reallocated to pay the additional 20% of wages not covered under the government scheme but you will be able to have a conversation with your TNLCF contact to discuss why this is the best option for your organisation and what you propose to spend the money on instead of wages.

More information can be found on TNLCF website here
