SKY NEWS CLIMATE CHANGE PROGRAMME - GET INVOLVED

5th Jun 2019

Sky News are doing a series of films on climate change in June and are looking for a diverse range of families to take their challenge as part of their programme – more details below. Please share within your networks or contact Aoife Yourell (Producer) directly if you are interested Aoife.Yourell@sky.uk.

‘We’re making a series of films, one of which will look at individuals’ carbon footprints. We are currently looking for families across the country who we can film with as part of this project. They would be joining our reporter in having their carbon footprint assessed. We would need them for one day of filming in which we bring our carbon guru to meet them and calculate their footprint and we then discuss the impact of climate change on them personally, their awareness of it and the sacrifices and difficult choices they are prepared or feel empowered to make ( or not!). We are keen to speak to people from a diverse range of backgrounds from across the country, urban and rural. The ideal household might be aware of environmental issues but not super-green, as we'll have more to talk about and get a bit more out of our carbon guru in terms of talking about lifestyle changes and advice.’
