DAY OF CELEBRATION AND ACTION ON FOOD AND CLIMATE: A COMMUNITY GOOD FOOD NETWORK EVENT

15th Sep 2021 15:00

The next Food Durham Community Good Food Network session will focus on the Sustainable Food Places Day of Celebration and Action on Food and Climate in late September.

With the UN Climate Conference in Glasgow coming up in November, the SPF network want to celebrate all the good work around food and climate that is already going on and inspire others to join in the action and begin to make some changes.

This session will explore some of the ways that people can get involved and provide some of the bigger picture. We will also present some of the resources available for use in social media. We hope the session will inspire participants to organise events or publicity in their own communities.

Our speakers for this event will include Charlotte Walton from The Auckland Project and at least one other speaker to be confirmed.

The event will take place online on Wednesday 15th September from 3.00 - 4.00pm and joining instructions will be provided prior to the meeting.
