WELLBEING FOR LIFE BRINGS BACK COMMUNITY FESTIVE FAIR

5th Oct 2017

The Wellbeing for Life Service is bringing back the Bishop Auckland Community Festive Fair.

The service really missed the fair last year, and feel that it is a great local event to celebrate Christmas as a community and to share all the good things that happen locally. They are bringing back the event this year with a healthy family focus and would like to invite all members of the community along.

The Festive Fair promises to be a fantastic, fun event, with lots of things for all family members to take part in, young and old.

Marnie Ramsey, Wellbeing for Life Coordinator said ‘We really love getting involved with our communities and this is a great way to celebrate Christmas together. We’ve got lots of attractions, workshops and displays planned; there’s literally something for everyone. Santa Claus will also be visiting us at the Community Festive Fair, along with his little helpers, so children can visit Santa for free and will receive a present from the North Pole!’

The event will be held at Bishop Auckland College on Sunday 10 December, 10am – 3pm. Entry is free.

The Wellbeing for Life Service will be announcing the main attractions over the coming weeks on their Facebook page @CountyDurhamWellbeingForLifeService.

If anyone would like a market stall at the Community Festive Fair, please contact cdda-tr.WBFL@nhs.net for a booking form.
