Sarah Banks

Sarah is co-director of the Centre for Social Justice and Community Action and Professor in the School of Applied Social Sciences, Durham University, where she teaches and researches in community development and participatory research. She has a particular interest in community-based research in partnership with community organisations on issues related to poverty, debt and social justice. She has a background in community development and worked in the voluntary sector and local authority social services before joining Durham University.
